Today, Shepherding the Next Generation released a document outlining a long-term, research-based plan to strengthen American families and bring hope to at-risk kids. The four-part plan to strengthen families is based entirely on rigorous research studies. It includes providing at-risk teen mothers with voluntary parenting skill training, enabling young fathers to become economically stable and responsible, helping young children develop academic and social skills at a critical time in early brain development, and helping families with troubled youth to guide their children back on track.
