After a long and prayerful search for Shepherding the Next Generation’s National Director, Dr. John Crupper signed on to the position early last month. He is an ordained Southern Baptist minister who spent fourteen years in pastoral ministry serving churches in North Carolina, Virginia and Illinois. He has also worked in industry in operations management and, most recently, for Awana, an international children’s ministry. He holds a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Dr. Crupper serves as a Chaplain with Civil Air Patrol (United States Air Force Auxiliary) and is active in his home church. He was a contributor to Perspectives on Children’s Spiritual Formation published by B&H Academic. He and his wife, Sarah, have three grown children.
