Dr. John K. Crupper, National Director
Dr. John Crupper is an ordained Southern Baptist minister who spent fourteen years in pastoral ministry serving churches in North Carolina, Virginia and Illinois. He has also worked in industry in operations management and, most recently, for Awana, an international children’s ministry. He holds a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. John serves as a Chaplain with Civil Air Patrol (United States Air Force Auxiliary). He was a contributor to Perspectives on Children’s Spiritual Formation published by B&H Academic. He and his wife, Sarah, have three grown children. They worship at Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg, VA.
Renee Pettinger, Membership Associate
Renee Pettinger is a native of Michigan with an extensive background in direct service. Prior to joining Shepherding the Next Generation, Renee worked in Rescue Mission Ministry for several years, most recently serving as the Advisor for an Expansion Mission in Eastern Michigan, overseeing the business plan and program development. Renee also developed and directed the youth ministry program for the Holland Rescue Mission and has worked with child welfare services, providing home-based parent-coaching and life-skills services to at-risk families and youth involved in the foster care and juvenile justice systems. Renee completed her undergraduate studies in Urban Ministry at Moody Bible Institute and her MBA in Nonprofit Management at Hope International University.
